Cody and Erin are famous models. Not really... but they should be! These two are as fun and sweet as they are good looking. In fact, between the portraits and the reception, they ran to Walmart and bought frozen foods in their wedding attire, and Erin did a cheerleader stunt IN HER GOWN! (Need to check that off my wedding bucket list!)
I got to sit down with both of them a couple weeks before the wedding. They giggled as they told me how they met on Twitter thanks to Drake. Cody reminisced about having a crush on Erin for four years before he got the nerve to ask her out. About a month or two into their relationship, they both knew this was IT. They were in love and didn't look back. I was SO excited when they told me the theme of their April 15th wedding was Gatsby style! The whole room was filled with dashing men and glamorous women. The MC, a friend of the bride, even serenaded them before the party began. It was a beautiful day, despite rain and wind. The wonderful bridal party made it easy and so much fun! Congratulations, Cody and Erin! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day! Cory & Leslie were married at the beautiful Camp Daggett in Petoskey, MI, this past December. The day was calm and lovely, and simply sweet. Leslie wore a vintage dress given to her by her mother, and Cory wore a vest and jeans and his signature hat. They were joined by many friends and family and, their sister was even able to say hello from Australia via video chat!
Special thanks to my husband for making arrangements with the camp staff for Cory and Leslie to use a canoe for their portraits! And shout out to Leslie for jumping at the chance to climb in that cold canoe in her beautiful dress! Be sure to watch the short video of their wedding reception at the bottom of the page! Kurt and Elizabeth's wedding took place in Petoskey, Michigan, on one of the coldest, snowiest days of December! Poor Elizabeth had to suffer through portraits in a near-blizzard and open-toe sandals, but she was still glowing through it all. (And Kurt was right there to help warm her feet afterward!)
I received a request to photograph this wedding just two weeks in advance, and I'm so glad I was available! This is the second Boucher wedding Mr. LCP and I have had the privilege to photograph (hang tight for the second Boucher blog!), and we really enjoyed ourselves! Kurt was so handsome in his uniform and Elizabeth was absolutely stunning in her mother's wedding dress! The entire celebration felt very nostalgic and made us almost wish we were shooting in black and white film! Thank you, Kurt and Elizabeth, for choosing Laura Crowe Photography! We at LCP would like to humbly thank Kurt Boucher for his service to our country. We are grateful for the freedoms men and women like you continue to protect. |
